RETURN POLICY AND LIMITED GUARANTEE AGAINST DEFECTS
Here at LavaJoy.com, we understand that ordering online without seeing your items in person can be challenging. We want you to be pleased with your selection and have done our best to bring you the most detailed product pictures and descriptions. Your use of the LavaJoy.com site implies your understanding and compliance with our procedures and policies.
Please research your desired products thoroughly prior to purchasing. We are sorry, in order for us to keep our prices down we do not offer satisfaction guarantees and most items may not be returned. We do not endorse the claims of manufacturers.
Color & Measurements: Please note that exact color matches cannot be guaranteed. Very often, the color of your toy may vary from what you perceive on your screen. This can be due to a variety of factors beyond our control. An item will not be considered as "falsely advertised" if the color of your item is not exactly the same as the image we have on the LavaJoy.com site. Measurements are provided as per the manufacturer and may vary slightly from the actual object. This is the most accurate information we have at the time a product is added to the site.Please select your products carefully! For sanitary/hygienic purposes, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Due to the intimate nature of the products we sell, we are unable to return or exchange purchased toys and products. Any item that is designed to come into contact with any body part or fluid is non-resalable and is not eligible for return under no circumstances, even if you have not opened the item. Once these items leave our warehouse, they are considered used and as bio-hazard, and therefore cannot be returned. Not all items will come with a manufacturer seal, we have limited control over this as every manufacturer has different practices. Please know that every item we sell is brand new. We have a strict return policy in place for the safety and peace of mind of all our customers and employees. Our return policy is deliberately rigid.
This includes, but is not limited to:

- gags and ropes
- lingerie and men's wear
- lubes, massage oils, condoms, and body paints
When you receive your package, promptly check the items to make sure the items are working. While we strive to provide quality products, occasionally an item may be defective. We will only replace for BATTERY OPERATED items with a MECHANICAL DEFECT (or for any shipping errors made by us). Our policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange. Items which become defective within 15 days of delivery may be eligible for replacement, either through LavaJoy or through the manufacturer. After 15 days, defective items with valid warranty coverage, will be replaced directly through the manufacturer. You must contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know of the issue. When emailing about a defect, please have the following information ready, your order number along with your name, and the nature of the defect. Please return the items in their original packaging within 15 days after RMA is issued to the address we will provide you. Items returned without original packaging will NOT be accepted so please keep all packaging for the 15 day return period. Any item returned must have ALL original parts and packaging, batteries if applicable, cords, controls, blank warranty cards, instructions etc. If you have further questions or problems, please contact us.
Note: More of our quality manufacturers are offering longer warranties and even product exchanges if you have an issue after the sale.
We have hundreds of products on our website. Some of the products have measurements and some do not. We will not issue a refund for a product without measurements due to the size. Please make sure the product you are ordering meets all of your requirements including size before placing your order.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Book with obvious signs of use.
CD, DVD, or VHS tape, that has been opened.
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 15 days after delivery.
REFUNDS/REPLACEMENTS (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund/replacement.
If you are approved, then your replacement will be shipped/refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Unauthorized returns will not be credited or replaced. Unauthorized returns include:
- Returns made without RMA approval. These packages are considered a bio-hazard and will be disposed of.
- Returns made with the pretense that there is a defect, when in fact, one does not exist.
- Returns made after the return parameters have expired. This information will be provided within your return instructions.
UNWANTED PACKAGES OR INCORRECT ADDRESS
- Unwanted Packages: Please do not refuse your shipment. If your order has shipped and you no longer want it, DO NOT OPEN THE PACKAGE. Email us at email@example.com and we will follow up with return instructions. Please note, items which do not have an intact manufacturer seal, an intact tamper-proof seal, or some other tampering deterrent are not eligible for return.
- Incorrect Address: A re-stocking or re-ship fee may apply should a package be undeliverable due to incorrect delivery information provided by the customer. Please note: Packages returned to us without prior approval and with no RMA are considered a bio-hazard and will be disposed of.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Shipping charges are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for all return shipping fees.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
